Date Night Desserts That Won't Disappoint

Whether it's date night, treat night, or just any regular night of the week. When it comes to enjoying a delicious dessert, any excuse is a good excuse. We've put together a few simple and easy-to-prepare desserts that are sure to hit your sweet spot.

Note that these recipes and nutritional information are for single serve portions. Simply multiply the quantity of ingredients by the number of serves you wish to make.

 Biscoff Strawberry Bites

Ingredients
  • 52g Greek Yoghurt (Plain) (No Fat)
  • 40g Milk Chocolate
  • 50g Strawberries
  • 10g Biscoff Spread (Lotus)

Directions

  1. Mix yoghurt with biscoff spread.
  2. Place chocolate in a small bowl and microwave on high for 10-20 seconds. Stir chocolate and return to microwave for 10 second bursts if required, stirring until melted.
  3. Transfer half of melted chocolate into the bottom of a silicone ice cube tray, or small muffin tray. Layer with yoghurt mix, then diced strawberries and top with melted chocolate.
  4. Place in freezer for at least 1 hour. Remove and rest at room temperature for 10minutes before eating.
*This snack can be stored in an air-tight container and kept in the freezer for 5-7 days. 


Air Fryer Banana Split

Ingredients
  • 120g Banana
  • 15g Blueberries
  • 15g Raspberries
  • 15g Nutella (Hazelnut Spread)
  • 10g Almonds
  • 30g Coconut Yoghurt (Plain)

Directions

  1. Slice banana lengthways down the middle
  2. Line air fryer basket with parchment paper and lay banana smooth side up.
  3. Top with blueberries, raspberries and nutella. Air fry at 180 degrees celsius for 12-15 minutes.
  4. Remove from air fryer and top with yoghurt and crushed almonds.
*We recommend creating this meal at time of consumption.

Chocolate Coated Strawberries

Ingredients
  • 125g Strawberries
  • 30g Milk Chocolate
Directions
  1. Line a small plate with parchment paper.
  2. Place chocolate in a small bowl and microwave on high for 10-20 seconds. Stir chocolate and return to microwave for 10 second bursts if required, stirring until melted.
  3. Hold strawberry stalk and dip strawberries into melted chocolate until half covered. Lay strawberries gently on prepared plate and repeat for remaining fruit.
  4. Place strawberries in fridge for 1-2 hours, or until chocolate has set.
*These can be stored in an air-tight container and kept in the fridge for 3-4 days.
